South Dakota subscription rates for 2008 are:
One year: $30.00 (Add 4% SD tax PLUS your local city sales tax)
Two years: $56.00 (Add 4% SD tax PLUS your local city sales tax)
College Student Special: $21.00 for 9 months

Out of state rate: $36.00
Foreign rate: $39.00
Single Copy Rate: 75¢ plus tax. To have single copies mailed, the cost is $1.75

Effective Jan. 1, 2005, we are required to collect the South Dakota sales tax (4%) PLUS the city sales tax applicable where your newspaper is delivered. Previously the city tax was collected at Timber Lake. For those South Dakota subscribers who pay by mail, please pay the subscription rate ($30) PLUS 4% S.D. tax ($1.20) PLUS your local city sales tax.

Members of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe who reside on the CRST Reservation are exempt from city sales tax, by city ordinance. You must pay the 4% state/tribal tax: $30.00 + $1.20 = $31.20

In Timber Lake, the city sales tax is 2%
A local subscription is $30.00 + $1.80 = $31.80.
