Rodger Campbell

Rodger Campbell was born in Mobridge to Tracy and Ann Campbell on September 7, 1930. His father was the Milwaukee Railroad depot agent in Trail City where the family lived until they moved to Washington when Rodger was nine years old. Rodger and his wife Barbara had four children: Teary, Tim, Tom and Trudy; ten grandchildren and
six great-grandchildren. Rodger and Barbara celebrated 50 years of marriage. Rodger was employed with the NP/BNSF Railroad for 47 years and was fascinated with locomotive trains throughout his life. Rodger married Kristine Doty in 2005. He is survived by his wife Kristine, daughters Teary Wedin, Trudy Gilthvedt, and sons Tim Campbell and Tom  Campbell. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Tracy Jr. and Vincent, and sister Ethel Campbell Garrison. In
addition to his children he is survived by sisters Doris Tuntland, Beverly Keegan, and Mary Jane Tinsley. Rodger made several trips to Timber Lake and Trail City in the past few years for reunions and celebrations.
