Lady Panthers fall short in bid for District 15B championship

Courtney Dahlgren (WITH BALL) scored a career-high 32 points and tied the school’s single-game 3-point record in the Panthers’ final game of the season.

After bumping off rival McIntosh in quarterfinal play, the Timber Lake Lady Panthers fell short in their quest for a District 15B girls basketball championship last week, dropping the title game 62-51 to highly-touted McLaughlin on Friday despite the best efforts of leading scorer Courtney Dahlgren. Dahlgren turned in her best performance of the season in the championship matchup, scoring a careerhigh 32 points and tying the school's single-game 3-point record she set earlier in the season with eight buckets from behind the arch.
