Ron and Elaine Silverman were looking for a lifestyle change. They found it in Glad Valley, where they and one neighbor are the only residents of the town , their dog Bo is the chief of police and their orange tom cat, Klause, is the mayor. Transplanted from Mt. Vernon, OH (a town of about 40,000 near Columbus) they lived in Lemmon for three years before discovering Glad Valley, located on Highway 20 ten miles west of Isabel.
