Acts of kindnesss should inspire us to do better

It’s been said that there is no such thing as a small act of kindness. The theory is that every act creates a ripple with no logical end. The other day I heard a story about a young man who went out of his way to help a stranger. He’ll have
no idea how much that act ripples out across time and space. When a 19-year-old boy saw a shoeless man sitting
at a quick stop, wearing a shirt with holes in it, the teen was spurred into doing something nice for the man
