The Timber Lake varsity boys extended their winning streak to 5 games and their overall record to 12-5 with two wild wins over Newell and Crazy Horse last week and a road win at Eureka/Bowdle on Monday.

At Newell on Friday, Feb. 10, the Panthers won the game 48-46 when Isaac Kraft put in a last-second shot at the buzzer. At Crazy Horse the next day, the Panthers were down by as many as 22 points before they came storming back to win 78-77.

At Bowdle on Monday night, the Panthers built a substantial lead by halftime and held off the Patriots (4-13) for the victory. Only one game remains for the Panthers before the District 15B tournament, as they play at Tiospaye Topa on Feb. 24.
