Battlers score late, beat Panthers 36-28

Timber Lake tasted defeat for just the second time this season on Friday night, as they lost a raucous back-and-forth 9-man football struggle to the Potter County Battlers, 36-28 in Timber Lake.

The Panthers led 22-8 at halftime but saw the Battlers score three unanswered touchdowns in the second half. Potter County took a 28-22 lead with just over three minutes left in the game when Cole Nafziger took a pass from Ben Krueger 35 yards to the end zone.
