Help for Belinda

Belinda Voegele Holzer of Mobridge suffered a brain aneurysm rupture on Friday, September 29. She was immediately flown to Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND where she underwent a craniotomy to remove the blood and pressure in her brain. On Saturday at the Trail City Fall Festival, friends Joni Swift and Rashell Hulm (ABOVE RIGHT) sold raffle tickets to raise funds to help Belinda and her family with expenses. Barb Gross (LEFT) is one of those who purchased tickets. Family and friends report that the extent of Belinda’s brain injury has not been determined.

The staff has recommended that only immediate family members visit and only for short periods of time. Belinda is married to David Holzer and they have two children. She is the daughter of Leon and Delores Voegele of Trail City and a 1991 graduate of Timber Lake High School. Well wishes and words of encouragement may be sent to Belinda Holzer c/o Sanford Medical Center, 5225 23rd Ave. S - Room 513, Fargo, ND 58104. An account has been set up at Dacotah Bank in Mobridge. Friends may follow her progress via Caring Bridge
