Martin likes district’s performance data

The numbers on the Timber Lake School District’s Report Card may speak for themselves but Supt. Dan Martin was especially proud of the math and English scores for the “Gap Group.”

The annual Report Card from the S.D. Dept. of Education shows student achievement by grade level based on testing done in the spring of each year. Data is also presented for the “Gap Group” made up of students in six historically under-performing subgroups: economically disadvantaged, Native American, students with disabilities, African American, Hispanic and English learners (those for whom English is a new language).
