Meeting on August 27, the Timber Lake City Council carried on indepth discussions on a budget for 2019. Council members examined a draft budget of expenses and income prepared by Finance Officer Karla Nordyke. By the end of the evening they had made some changes and agreed on a preliminary budget. Nordyke was directed to make copies with updated figures in preparation for the first reading to be held at the September 5 regular meeting.
