Seiler makes stop in Timber Lake on final campaign swing

Former U.S. Attorney and candidate for South Dakota Attorney General Randy Seiler (D) made a campaign swing through our area Monday, stopping in Eagle Butte and Timber Lake on his way from his home in Ft. Pierre to his hometown in Herreid. Seiler said the purpose of his visit to Dewey County was to continue his campaign's outreach to S.D. communities to listen, to meet people and see what’s on their minds. “This is home country for me,” Seiler said. “It’s a get out the vote, come back home opportunity that I’ve been saving for the last week.” During his stop in Eagle Butte, Seiler met with CRST Chairman Harold Frazier and CRST council member Ed Widow.
