The Timber Lake High School National Honor Society has launched a clothing drive to help families in the South Pacific. “I have a teacher friend in the Northern Mariana Islands that has reached out for help,” said NHS Advisor Luann Lindskov. “After the Category 5 typhoon in late October, they are still dealing with devastation. Since there are no stores on the island, they are in great need of clothing.” The students have placed boxes in several locations in the community to collect good used summer clothing for people of all ages. NHS members at work on the project Tuesday morning are (L-R) Sage Taken Alive, Kayden Hansen, Abby Linderman, McKenzie Beyer, Allison Gross, Miranda Hulm, Jimi Lynn Hulm, Beau DuBray, Bergen Marshall, and Maggie Bad Warrior.
