Matt Jewett launches a 3-ball versus the HSA Wolverines.

After going 4-for-4 in the opening week of basketball, the Timber Lake Panthers looked to continue their strong start Dec. 11 at home against the Herreid-Selby Wolverines.

The Panther girls split this outing with the JV girls winning 31-17 and the varsity girls losing by a score of 54-35. Meanwhile the boys took both contests quite handily with JV winning 46-26 followed up by a 78-61 performance in varsity play.

Thus far the Panthers are off to a stellar start. Both the boys and girls look poised to have excellent seasons.
