Timber Lake boys get home victory

Timber Lake’s Brayden PayPay goes up for a layup during a 32-point performance against Harding County

The Timber Lake Panthers played host to the Harding County Ranchers on Tuesday, January, 22 in boys basketball action. Both Timber Lake teams were able to walk away with home victories.

In the varsity contest Timber Lake would look to bounce back after backto-back losses coming at the hands of Sully Buttes and Willow Lake/Clark. Harding County was able stay within 5 points of the Panthers in the first eight minutes of play. Entering the second quarter the score was 17-12 in favor of Timber Lake. During the second quarter, the Panthers would start to heat up and pull away. The first half ended on a big shot hit by sharpshooting guard Brayden PayPay, who hit a 3-point bomb as the buzzer sounded to signal halftime.
