Dewey is Purple Heart County

Signs honoring service people wounded or killed in America’s wars were presented to the Dewey County Commissioners on June 4 by representatives of the Military Order of the Purple Heart. The commissioners had earlier passed a resolution making Dewey County a Purple Heart County.
