Several visitors brought business before the Isabel Town Board at their July meeting on Monday night.

A group of about six leaders and parents from the Isabel Shooting Sports 4-H Club came to discuss the new rates being charged to use the Community Center. Chris Long introduced the issue by saying that the new rate schedule would cost the club about $1000 for the year, and that amount is cost prohibitive for them. The club members and board discussed ideas for combining practice sessions and pooling the efforts of different youth activity organizations in order to make the best use of the Community Center and raise the funds needed to cover expenses.

Board member Ryan Maher said that no one is making any money from the Community Center, but they are just trying to keep the lights on. Parent Lisa Martin said that if the charges are going to increase the clubs need time to raise funds for the extra money.
