CRSTTA accepts bid of $899,000

The Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Telephone Authority board of directors held a special meeting on August 16 to review the bids for the Timber Lake Fiber Project. The bids came in significantly higher than originally estimated, according to Mona Thompson, general manager of CRSTTA. The low bid of $899,638.25 from Ernst Trenching of Fargo, ND was approved that day.

“The next step will be to hold a pre-construction meeting with Ernst Trenching,” said Thompson. “A construction start date has not yet been determined. The contract must be completed by November 1.”
