Stiff competition from schools like Newell and Cheyenne-Eagle Butte, as well as a stiff wind, challenged the Panther runners at their annual home Timber Lake Invitational Friday afternoon at Little Moreau Country Club. Factor in the hilly route along the course and it all added up for a great day of running for TLHS.

The varsity boys race saw the Panthers finish 2nd as a team, with Ian Beyer coming in 4th, Caleb Bieber 8th, Beau DuBray 10th and Ethan Farlee 12th.

Carlie Lawrence placed 10th out of 20 in the varsity girls race. Natalie Lawrence won the JV girls race and Chase Marshall and Ashton Kerstiens placed 1-2 in the JV boys. Meredith Maciejewski took 3rd in the middle school girls race.
