Four Bands Community Fund, the get-thingsdone development organization headed by Tanya Fiddler at Eagle Butte, has a multifaceted approach to building a stronger local economy.

One of their latest efforts is the Shop Cheyenne River campaign, aimed at encouraging shoppers to spend their money in local businesses. The program includes the use of billboards, colorful street banners, newspaper ads, posters, pens and shopping bags to build awareness and encourage shoppers to think about shopping locally.

There are lots of reasons to spend your dollars with your neighbors. Here are the Top Ten as stated by the Shop Cheyenne River campaign:
