The Isabel Town Board voted 2-1 last week to give its employees costof-living wage increases.

The board okayed two percent increases for Maintenance Supervisor Frankie Ducheneaux and Finance Officer Karla Nordyke and a 50-cent per hour increase for Char Boysen, who serves as maintenance assistant and deputy finance officer. The wage hike lifts Ducheneaux's salary from $41,416 per year to $42,840 while Nordyke's hourly wage will rise from $18.25 to $18.62 and Boysen's hourly wage jumps from $12 to $12.50. The board froze the compensation paid to themselves, which is $600 per year for the president and $500 per year for trustees. Ducheneaux and Boysen also receive full benefits and Nordyke gets partial benefits.
