James William Clark

September 19, 1926 – June 2, 2018

James W. Clark, 91, of Keldron passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Hospice House in Rapid City. Memorial services were held on June 12 at the New Hope Worship Center in Lemmon with Pastor Harold Delbridge officiant. Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home in Lemmon was in charge of arrangements. James William Clark was born on September 19, 1926 to Avery Albert Clark and Genevieve (Schmidt) Clark in Lemmon. His father homesteaded in 1911 and began to carve out a living for his family. Jim was the third of six children, the oldest of three boys, which required him to become a man at an early age due to the untimely death of his father when Jim was 19 years old

Harry Joseph DuBray Sr

Mass of Christian burial for Harry DuBray Sr., 73, of Eagle Butte was June 13, 2018 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Ft. Yates, ND. Burial was in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Harry passed away June 6, 2018 at his home in Eagle Butte. Harry was born on July 12, 1946 at Fort Yates to Antoine and Helen (Silk) DuBray. He grew up and attended school in Fort Yates, where he graduated from high school in 1964. He joined the United States Army in February 1973, and served four years during the Vietnam era. He was honorably discharged in March 1977.

Funeral services for Shirley Burns, 77, of Mobridge were held Monday June 18, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church in Mobridge. Interment was in the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Shirley passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Renner.

May Louise (Lawrence) Le Beau

May 1, 1922 – May 28, 2018

May Louise Le Beau, 96, of Rapid City died Monday, May 28, 2018 at the Fountain Springs Healthcare Center. May Louise was born to Robert and Andel (Landreaux) Lawrence near Promise on May 1, 1922. She grew upon her parents’ ranch, attended several boarding schools, and graduated from high school at St. Francis. After high school she went to Spokane, WA and worked during World War II. She also worked at the Rapid City Hospital in the middle 40’s. May returned to the Promise area and married Freddie Le Beau in 1946. They had six children and ranched near the Mobridge area. She moved to Rapid City in 1971 and had lived there since.

Ruth E. Rosenau

Funeral services for Ruth E. Rosenau, 99, of Meadow were Monday, June 11, 2018 at the Coal Springs Community Church south of Meadow. Pastor Jess Harkins officiated. Burial was in the Hillview Cemetery at Isabel. Ruth passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the Five Counties Nursing Home in Lemmon where she had lived for the past year. Ruth Elizabeth was born June 3, 1919 on the family homestead southeast of Glad Valley. She was the second of seven children born to William “Bill” and Wilhemina “Minnie” (Picker) Rosenau. Ruth lived at the home place until she left for college. She continued to spend her weekends and summers there until she moved a trailer house to the Meadow community in 1974.
