Francis Ruschensky

September 9, 1924 – July 22, 2013.
Francis “Frank” Ruscheinsky died July 22, 2013. He was 88. Frank was born September 9, 1924 in Timber Lake to Marzelinus and Elizabeth Ruscheinsky. He was survived by daughters, Corinne (Dave) Haney and Roberta (Rick) Gannon; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriette, and daughter Michele. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Christ the King Church in Milwaukie, OR.

Rodger Campbell

Rodger Campbell was born in Mobridge to Tracy and Ann Campbell on September 7, 1930. His father was the Milwaukee Railroad depot agent in Trail City where the family lived until they moved to Washington when Rodger was nine years old. Rodger and his wife Barbara had four children: Teary, Tim, Tom and Trudy; ten grandchildren and
six great-grandchildren. Rodger and Barbara celebrated 50 years of marriage. Rodger was employed with the NP/BNSF Railroad for 47 years and was fascinated with locomotive trains throughout his life. Rodger married Kristine Doty in 2005. He is survived by his wife Kristine, daughters Teary Wedin, Trudy Gilthvedt, and sons Tim Campbell and Tom  Campbell. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Tracy Jr. and Vincent, and sister Ethel Campbell Garrison. In

Deborah “Debbe” Lawrence

by her side. Debbe was born on January 26, 1952 to Ernest “Tuffy” and Mary (Collins) Ducheneaux at the Old Cheyenne River Agency. Debbe was the 13th of 14 siblings. She grew up on her parents’ ranch in Promise. During her elementary years, Debbe attended the Promise and White Horse day schools. She graduated in 1971, from the Catholic boarding

Louie Janousek

Louie Janousek was born May 19, 1935 at Hamill, the son of Frank and Anna (Pistulka) Janousek and he died at Avera Gregory Hospital in Gregory on January 1, 2014 at the age of 78. Louie grew up in the St. Charles and Fairfax areas and graduated from Fairfax High School in 1953. On June 1, 1955, he was united in marriage to JoAnn Ohri of Fairfax. In 1959 they moved to Sloan, IA where Louie managed an elevator until 1961. In 1961 they moved back to the old Ohri farmstead, where they lived until 1970. In 1970 they moved to the Joe Ohri farm which was acknowledged as a “Century Farm” in 2004. During his younger years, Louie was very active in sports, car racing and hunting. He also loved a good
card game with friends and greatly enjoyed dancing. Most of all, his passion was farming, ranching and caring for animals and pets. Louie served on several organizations and boards such as 4-H, Fairfax School Board, Farm Credit

Walter W. “Bill” Flynn

Walter W. “Bill” Flynn, Jr., 79, formerly of Timber Lake, died Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Golden Living Center – Prairie Hills in Rapid City. Survivors include his wife, Peggy L. (Singer) Flynn of Whitewood; a son, John J. Flynn of Rapid City; two daughters, Cindy Dyer of Phoenix, AZ and Rose Ann Cardenas of California; a sister, Aileen Threlkeld of Tennessee; and seven grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy C. Flynn. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. MT on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis. A memorial has been established.
