Morgan Ducheneaux ran in the 4x100, 4x200, 4x800, and the 1600 meter sprint medley. The team placed second in all the relays but the 4x200 in which they placed fourth.

Timber Lake boys win 4x800 relay at Eureka Track Meet

The Timber Lake track team participated in the Eureka Track Meet on Tuesday, May 6. Lexy White was 8th in the Girls 1600 Meter Run with a time of 6:32.60 and Victoria Daugaard was 12th with a time of 6:33.04. Victoria placed 8th in Girls 3200 Meter Run with a time of 17:55.56.

Junior high track team competes at Lemmon

The Timber Lake Junior High tracksters competed in Lemmon on Saturday, May 9. They made a good showing at the meet. In the Girls 100 Meter Dash, 6th grader Olivia Linderman had a time of 16.41 and Macey Bollinger, also a 6th grader, had a time of 17.36.

Timber Lake tracksters participated in the Lemmon Track Meet on Saturday, May 3. The girls team finished 7th out of 10 teams and the boys finished 9th out of 10. Girls team rankings were 1. Lemmon; 2. Faith; 3. Mobridge-Pollock; 4. McIntosh; 5. Harding County; 6. Newell; 7. Timber Lake; 8. Bison; 9. Cheyenne-Eagle Butte; 10. Hettinger/Scranton.

Well, it’s May in South Dakota. The weather is warming up and fishing has been very good. The season never closes on the Missouri River, so it’s time to head to the middle of South Dakota. PLEASE NOTE: The walleye limit on Lake Oahe is 4 a day – 8 in possession. SDHS Activities Association commits to seven classes of football

For S.D. Newspaper Assn. In a wide-ranging conversation about football in South Dakota, Darren Paulson, Rapid City, said it best: "Football's its own animal." The president of the South Dakota High School Activities Association was referring to the near constant attention and tweaking that goes into the way the sport is structured in the state.
