As a classroom teacher, I often ask students
about their performance in last night’s game.
If the team lost, the student invariably says
“We got beat” or “We didn’t do so well.”
I often wonder, wherever did they get that idea?
At a tournament the other day, our team did lose.
We could all see those results on the scoreboard...
