Pitmaster Chris Bollinger tends to pork and beef ribs, brisket and roast during the Timber Lake Volunteer Fire Department’s annual 4th of July festivities. Despite the rain, a large crowd turned out to eat barbecue and youngsters played on the inflatable games. Winners were drawn for the raffle and other giveaways.

Trenton Hansen of Timber Lake received the Dallas Heninger Memorial Bull Riding Award this past weekend at the high school regional rodeo in Ft. Pierre.
