Mass of Christian Burial for Sharon Keller, 81, of Trail City will be at 10 a.m. MT, Friday, September 11, 2020 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Timber Lake. Burial will be at the Timber Lake Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. A prayer service will be Thursday at 7 p.m. CT at Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge.

Sharon passed away Saturday September 5, 2020 at the Mobridge Regional Hospital.

Sharon (Ducheneaux) Keller was born on February 15, 1939 at the Cheyenne Agency to Tuffy and Mary (Collins) Ducheneaux. She grew up in Promise, but was sent away to Stephan (Immaculate Conception) School. She graduated from Stephan in 1957. She then attended Nettleton College in Sioux Falls for business.

Sharon married Delbert “Doc” Lamb on February 21, 1959 in Phoenix, AZ. She had three beautiful, wonderful children, Deleen, Nadean, and Gumbo. She worked for the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe for 18 years.

Sharon married Duane “Whitey” Keller in August 30, 1984, and moved to Trail City, where she resided until her passing.

She is survived by her husband, Whitey; daughters, Deleen Kougl of Timber Lake and Nadean “Deanie” (Art) Clifton of Faith, daughter-in-law, Shawn Lamb; a very special nephew, Deb Allen (Heidi) Ducheneaux; nine grandchildren: Marie (Richard) Gross, Danial Kougl, William (Justine) Kougl, Jewel (Matt) Poss, Jesse (Bryce) Bishop, Amber (Chance) Kraft, Duell Clifton, Delbert (Abby) Lamb and Kristopher (Kamy) Lamb; 13 great-grandchildren: Allison Gross, Natalie Gross, Terrance Gross, Sophia Gross, Shayde Lemmel, Carter Bishop, Aubrey Bishop, Nora Kougl, Cody Kougl, Payton Lamb, Kazmir Lamb, Sydney Kraft and Liam Poss, two step-children, Bruce (Jill) Keller and Peggy Laurenz; three stepgrandchildren; five sisters: Janice (Al) Aberle, Arlyce (Bill) Wientjes, Mary Jane Anderson, Lila (Ronnie) Long, and Bunny (Frankie) Thompson; brother, Tommy Ducheneaux; brothers-in-laws Bob Hagel and Ross Lawrence; and sister-in-law Betsy Ducheneaux.

Those that have left her are her parents, Tuffy and Mary Ducheneaux; her first husband, Delbert Lamb; son Gumbo Lamb; grandson Mykel Lamb; great-granddaughter Quinn Kougl; sisters, Phyllis (Elmer) Gunville, Audrey Hagel, Delores (Dick) Ward, Debby Lawrence, Butchie (Vincent) Thompson; brothers,; Lyle Ducheneaux, and Roman (Debby) Ducheneaux; sister-in-law Hilda Ducheneaux and brother-in-law Dick Anderson.
