Led by the first place individual finish of junior Ian Beyer, the Timber Lake Panthers claimed second in the team standings at the Battler Cross Country Invitational in Gettysburg on Saturday. Potter County won the boys title, followed by Timber Lake, Ipswich, Faulkton and Highmore. On the girls side, Ipswich ran to top honors with Potter County and Wolsey-Wessington in second and third.
