Absentee voting in South Dakota began Friday Sept. 18. As of Tuesday, September 22, the Dewey County Auditor’s office had given or mailed out 270 absentee ballots, and 23 had been returned.
The absentee voting continues until 5 p.m. on election day, November 3.
