A federal judge heard oral arguments last Wednesday, Jan. 19, on a motion to dismiss a lawsuit filed in relation to a 2019 road washout on the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation that killed two and injured two others.
Judge Daniel Hovland gave both sides one week to file briefs in the case and said once that occurs, he expects to make a ruling on the motion within 30 days.
