High school students Payton Booth and Cassie Harris water flower and vegetable plants that were grown from seed at Timber Lake School in preparation for planting in the new Healing Hands (Owaste Napikceya) community garden. Volunteers are needed to help with planting and tending the garden, which will be located on school property behind the former Linderman house.
Volunteers of all ages are being recruited to help with the Healing Hands (”Owaste Napikceya” Community Garden, a project of Timber Lake School.
Advisor LuAnn Lindskov says adult volunteers are needed to help with tilling, planting, assembling raised beds, watering, weeding, harvesting, and supervising young volunteers.
