A story about the Dewey County officials who were recently sworn in (Topic, page 1, January 12) contained an error regarding terms of office. The term for Treasurer Colleen Meier is two years since she is completing the term of Mikki Veit, who resigned. The terms of Auditor Mary Ducheneaux, Sheriff Ash Arpan, and Register of Deeds Deborah Goldade are all for four years.
