County hires architect to design records vault addition to courthouse

    The Dewey County Commission signed a contract with HKG Architects to design an addition to the Register of Deeds office and discussed courthouse security at a special meeting on May 23.

    The contract for $18,900 — 80% of their total estimated cost — gives HKG authorization to design plans and bid specifications for a 28’ x 26’ addition to be built on the northwest corner of the courthouse. The 728 s…
