The number of active COVID-19 cases in Dewey and Ziebach counties dipped below 30 earlier this month but is on the rise again. CRST Field Health reported 48 active cases in the two-county area on Tuesday, Oct. 12.
Of the active cases, 35 are located in Eagle Butte, seven are in Takini, five in White Horse and one in Timber Lake.
