Early voting for General Election begins September 20

Voter registration ends October 21

    Although November 5 is General Election Day throughout the country, voting in South Dakota begins on Friday, September 20. Ballots for early voting will be available from county auditors beginning September 18.

    Voters can register any time but to vote in the general election, they must be registered by 5 p.m. on Monday, October 21.
