A 14-year-old girl sustained minor injuries on Monday, June 7, when she lost control of the vehicle she was driving and rolled it over on the dump ground road on the west edge of Isabel, shearing off a power line pole and knocking out electricity to a portion of the community. According to the Dewey County Sheriff’s Department, the Isabel teenager sustained some minor bumps and bruises and received two stitches in her lower leg. Moreau-Grand Electric Cooperative crewmen arrived on the scene shortly after the incident to deal with the downed power lines and had power restored within an hour. Sheriff Dan Assman said citations are pending in the incident. Timber Lake ambulance also responded.
