Judge: Federal government not responsible for paying for former tribal office building

    While the federal government is not responsible for paying for a deteriorating former tribal offices building in Eagle Butte, a Federal Claims Court judge said in a ruling last week that although given every opportunity to help the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe (CRST), the U.S. government declined to do so.
