The Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe held its primary election on August 11 to choose candidates to advance to the November general election.
In unofficial results released last week, the tally for chairman showed incumbent Ryman LeBeau with 736 votes, Kenita J. Counting with 392, Manny C. Iron Hawk with 312, and Derek Bartlett with 52.
