Lemburg retires after 36 years at highway department

    Cathy Lemburg started working at the Dewey County Highway Department in June of 1990, meaning she worked there for almost exactly 36 years before retiring.

    Before starting at the Highway Department, Lemburg worked at the Western Dakota Bank as an assistant cashier. She started at the Highway Department working part-time and making $4.65 an hour. Lemburg had her first child by this time and remember…
