A walk and awareness gathering to bring attention to the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) and Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives (MMIR) movement will be held in Eagle Butte on Thursday, May 5.
Participants will meet at 10 a.m. at LandBack Corner in Eagle Butte (across from LTM) to make signs. The walk will begin at noon at the middle school, with a gathering to follow.
