Moreau-Grand Co-op members gather for 79th annual meeting
Bob Schuh (left) and his wife Dorothy of Isabel were recipients of the 2025 Good Neighbor award, presented by Ryan Maher, chairman of the Moreau-Grand board. Dorothy was unable to attend as she was recovering from surgery.
Moreau-Grand board members Geralyn Hahne (left) and Kerry McLellan (right) presented a star quilt to Lois Bartlett in recognition of her 18 years on the board. Paul Lawrence was not in attendance to receive a star quilt after serving 25 years.
Cody Jewett (left) of Isabel (District 2) and DeeAnn Lawrence of Eagle Butte (District 4) were seated as new board members, replacing Lois Bartlett and Paul Lawrence, who did not seek reelection.
Members of Moreau-Grand Electric Cooperative took care of business and honored some members at the annual meeting held October 8 in Timber Lake.
Two new directors who ran unopposed were seated - Cody Jewett in District 2 and DeeAnn Lawrence in District 4. Incumbents Royce Walker of McLaughlin (District 1) and Troy Wall of Dupree (District 5) were also elected without opposition.
