When the St. Joseph’s Bookmobile stopped at Timber Lake in 2019, Leah Eigelaar (CENTER) found some books to take home. Last year the Bookmobile did not tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the summer months, the St. Joseph’s Indian School Bookmobile travels to communities throughout South Dakota to distribute free reading material for all ages and interests. This year, the bookmobile will have on board Native American books by Native American authors, one for each person who comes to the bookmobile.
