Three local cowboys - a saddle bronc rider and two bull riders - advanced last week into the semifinal round at RodeoHouston, held Feb. 27 to March 17 in Houston, TX. Competing in Super Series I, Cole Elshere of Faith finished fifth in round one with a 78.5 point effort worth $500 and was third in the second round with an 82 point ride worth $1,000.
