Timber Lake will have no more than two medical marijuana licenses in the city and they will cost $5000 per year, the city board decided on August 5.
City Attorney Shane Penfield, who wrote the proposed medical marijuana ordinance for the city, had recommended allowing the same number of cannabis licenses as there are package (off-sale) liquor licenses, and the board agreed.
