Timber Lake father and son make Honor Flight trip to DC

On May 5, at four in the morning, Carl Winterberg and his son Adrian of Timber Lake were at an airport in Sioux Falls, boarding a plane bound for Washington, DC. Midwest Honor Flight organizes trips for veterans to visit military memorials in Washington and provides them with “respect, honor, and closure” through the experience.
