One of the oldest houses in Timber Lake and the giant tree that stood in front of it were removed last week. Miller Construction of Isabel demolished the former Herman house on F Street and tipped over the shallow-rooted 73-foot tree, which Kyle Nilson salvaged for his saw mill.
