Deputy Dewey County Auditor Cherie Leibel does a test run of ballot tabulating equipment on October 23 in preparation for the November 3 general election. The machine scans and counts the votes on the paper ballots and prints out a ticket to verify the count.
Dewey County voters who show up at the polls on November 3 will have a choice of voting on a paper ballot or the screen of the Express Vote machine, which prints out a paper ballot.
