Dupree High School celebrates Homecoming

Body
This year Dupree School’s Homecoming theme is “Dupree Tigers— The Greatest Show on Earth” and a circus theme was a fun way to celebrate coronation! In addition to the sparkling smiles and dresses, there were numerous circus acts that emcee Mark Peacock introduced to entertain the crowd, including an old west trick roper, the singing bearded lady, a fortune teller that did readings, hilarious clowns, an acrobat, and the infamous dog boy. During the program, this year’s DHS 3-2-1 Booster Club Letterman Jacket recipients were also announced. They are Evan Hollow Horn, Angel Johnson, Tristan Little Wounded, Erin Lemke, and MacKenzie Longbrake. Following the crowning of the royalty, the crowd moved from the gym to the football field to enjoy a beautiful fall night and giant bonfire to “burn the D” with the cheerleaders leading the spirit yells.
