The South Dakota Department of Health is opening vaccination clinics in 10 communities across the state including Timber Lake and Dupree - following the confirmation of two more cases of measles in the state last week, bringing the state total to four.

McLaughlin man sentenced to nearly six years in prison for burglary and assault

A 35-year-old McLaughlin man will spend time in the federal penitentiary after being sentenced last Wednesday, June 18, in U.S. District Court of First Degree Burglary and two counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.U.S. District Judge Charles B.
