TL teacher, support staff duo recognized for dedication, commitment to excellence

Timber Lake Elementary School second grade teacher Sierra Kraft has been selected Timber Lake Teacher of the Year and a pair of para-professionals - Mel Mareska and Kiri Schumacher, will share the Missy Stover Award, which is presented to an outstanding support staff member each year.

Judy Hintz and Jo Ann Wendt traveled to Aberdeen on Wednesday for doctor appointments and shopping. On Friday, Judy took Jo Ann to Bismarck to see Dean.On Saturday, Jared Hollenbeck and Kyrie Lemburg watched Mason Hollenbeck play basketball in the Timber Lake Youth Tournament.

February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month and representatives from the Sacred Heart Center in Eagle Butte came to Dupree School to do presentations to the JH and HS students.

Mobridge Art Show April 12-13

The 49th Annual Mobridge Area Art Show will be held April 12-13 at the Scherr-Howe Arena in Mobridge for students in 6th through 12th grade, and intermediate and advanced artists. Entry deadline is March 17.Categories include painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture/pottery, and photography.
