They have done it again. The Timber Lake High School Student Council has won the SD High School Activities Assn. Outstanding Student Council award in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and again this year.

Library has new books, audio books, movies

We have received several memorial donations and have purchased books. What a great way to memorialize that book/library loving friend or family member. Big or small it’s greatly appreciated. The second set of the large print circulation has arrived and ready to be checked out.

Peggy Ward nominee for ND Cowboy Hall of Fame

Peggy Ward, born and raised on a cattle and horse ranch north of Timber Lake on the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation, is nominated for induction into the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame. If selected, Ward will be enshrined under the Modern Era Rodeo category during a ceremony in June.

Timber Lake High School senior Kenlea Heck of Isabel recently signed a letter of intent to attend Black Hills State University where she will compete as a member of the Yellow Jacket rodeo team. With her for the signing were her parents, Brandon and Misti Heck.
